Dr. Marcelo Suárez-Orozco is the Dean of the Graduate School of Education & Information Studies and a distinguished Professor of Education. His work is interdisciplinary, comparative, and longitudinal. His basic research is on conceptual and empirical problems in the areas of cultural psychology and psychological anthropology with a focus on the study of immigration and globalization.

My research focuses on conceptual and empirical problems in the areas of cultural psychology and psychological anthropology with an emphasis on the study of mass migration, globalization, and education.
